Week four was easily dominated by, the Super Bowl champs, the Green Bay Packers. The Packers played the Denver Broncos at 4:15pm Eastern Time at Lambeau Field (the Packers home field). Before the game, the Packers were 3-0 with two away games. The Packers played the New Orleans Saints their first regular season game and of course won 42 to 34. Their second game, they played the Carolina Panthers and won 30 to 23. Finally, their third game, they won 27 to 17 against the Chicago Bears. The Packers had the lead the entire game except in the first quarter when the Broncos put up a field goal on their second drive to make 3 to zip. The Packers never lost sight of winning and scored 21 unanswered points (three touchdowns). The first and third touchdowns were by Aaron Rodgers, one fifty yard pass to Jordy Nelson (wide receiver) and an amazing eleven yard qb sneak. Aaron Rodgers had the best fantasy week of his life. The second touchdown came from a defensive interception. The packers defense is a must play defense, as in play them whenever possible. The Broncos finally replied with a touchdown and another field goal in the second quarter. The Broncos were close losing, 17 to 21, until Aaron Rodgers once again threw a seventeen yard touchdown to Greg Jennings making it 28 to 17. Then again, another touchdown for Aaron Rodgers when he ran it in for an eight yard touchdown! Now it was 35 to 17 the Packers dominate, and Aaron Rodgers with two rushing touchdowns already. Guess what comes next? Another Aaron Rodgers touchdown a sixteen yard throw to James Jones. It was now 42 to 17! The Packers over the Broncos. Then the Broncos get the ball back and almost instantly it is picked off by the Green Bay defense. Of course after, Aaron Rodgers throws another eight yard touchdown to Donald Driver making it 49 to 17…. The Broncos somewhat try to reply with a touchdown pass. They try to go for two instead of kicking a field goal and are stopped by the Packers Defense. Each team gets the ball back one more time, but no one scores. The game ends with Flynn (backup quarterback) kneeling the ball to finish off the remaining time. The final score was 49 to 23, without a doubt a brutal game for the Broncos and a record breaking one for the Packers. Any of the Packers offense is a great addition to any fantasy football team. Besides maybe Ryan Grant the running back because the offense throws the ball more than running. Any wide receiver gets around one touchdown a game, except Greg Jennings might get more because that’s Rodgers go-to guy. Either way any Packers player is a great scorer, even the defense.
