The Texans

I can’t believe it is week seven going into week eight; it is already the middle of the season! It sure doesn’t feel like it, but either way there is still football. This week is about the very, talked-about Houston, Texans. Last week the Texans played the Tennessee, Titans in Nashville. One of the many rivalries in the league, most projections predicted it to be a close game. The game started, and both teams went four and out on their first two drives of the day.
The Texans got the ball back, and took a long drive down the field. They ended up coming up short with only a field goal before the end of the first quarter. The second quarter was more eventful than the first. Matt Schaub threw a ten yard touchdown to Dreessen to put them up ten to zip. The Titans got the ball, but couldn’t produce anything. The Texans once again gave themselves more breathing room and scored with a 78 yard touchdown throw to Arian Foster! Arian foster is the best running back in the league and can carry any fantasy team to a victory. The Titans couldn’t reply and the Texans got the ball back and kicked a twenty-nine yard field goal before the half with Neil Rackers. Neil Rackers is one of the most consistent kickers in the league and if you have him he won’t let you down.
Can you guess what happens next? At the start of the second half, the Titans once again couldn’t score against Houston’s defense. The Texans then took their drive and scored a one yard touchdown leap from Arian Foster to put them up 27 to zip! So much for a close game! Tennessee finally replies with a quick five yard touchdown throw on the goal line. The rest of the quarter comes up empty for both teams. The fourth quarter starts with the Texans up 27 to 7. Houston scores again with a five yard run by Arian Foster. Then when the Titans get the ball it is intercepted by the Texans defense for another touchdown! Once again Houston pulls away making it 41 to 7.
The games ends in the same score and Titan fans are in disbelief of the final score. Arian Foster averaged over twenty-five points that game, and Schaub did decent too. Also the injured Andre Johnson, most likely one of the first picks of the draft early this season, is on everyone’s mind. He is projected to sit week eight, but probable for week nine. My suggestion is to wait until week ten to play him because even if he plays he will be limited, and only get you a few points each game until he is full strength once more. Altogether the Texans are a strong team that can get you to where you want to be in your fantasy league.
